Update your token’s on-chain metadata.
Inspect a Solana token, verify its current Metadata Update Authority, preview the changes and sign the update in your own wallet. Chippmunk never receives your private key or seed phrase.
Inspect token metadata
Solana Mainnet Beta only. Use the token mint address, not a pool address or wallet address.
Current on-chain metadata
Only the current Update Authority can approve changes. The page checks authority and mutability before enabling the update.
Platform fee recipient: Shown after inspection
The 0.65 SOL fee transfer and metadata update are included in one transaction. If the metadata update fails, Solana rejects the whole transaction and the platform fee is not transferred. Wallet/network fees are separate.
Eligibility and safety checks
- The mint must exist on Solana Mainnet Beta and have a supported Metaplex Token Metadata account.
- The metadata must still be mutable and your connected wallet must match the current Update Authority.
- If the Update Authority was revoked or the metadata made immutable, this tool cannot override that restriction.
- Token-2022 tokens using only the native Token Metadata extension (without a Metaplex metadata account) are not supported by this first release; the page will identify them without charging a fee.
- Name, symbol and URI are on-chain metadata fields. Image, description, website and social links normally live in the off-chain JSON referenced by the URI.
Never enter a seed phrase or private key. Verify the mint, new values, 0.65 SOL recipient and network fee in your wallet before approving. Chippmunk cannot guarantee how quickly third-party explorers refresh their cached token data after a successful transaction.
